Launching Riverflow, the AI model that ranked #1 in the world on day one
How I helped Sourceful pivot from packaging sourcing to an AI packaging design tool, then launched its own image-editing model straight to the top of the leaderboard on launch day.
Where things started
Sourceful was pivoting from packaging sourcing into AI, with two new products to take to market: an AI packaging design tool for brands, and Riverflow, its own AI image-editing model.
Existing customers knew Sourceful for sourcing packaging, not building AI, and the wider AI market didn't know it at all. Both products needed a value proposition, story and messaging built from scratch.
And they had to land in a market dominated by Google and OpenAI, where a start-up had to earn credibility fast.
From strategy to launch
Grounded it in customers
I ran customer research, jobs-to-be-done mapping and user testing to sharpen product-market fit.
Repositioned the business
Using those insights, I reshaped the value proposition, product narrative and messaging for two new AI products.
Launched Riverflow
I led the go-to-market for Sourceful's AI image-editing model, combining a PR push with paid campaigns across social channels.
Turned attention into growth
I ran experiments across acquisition, retention and usage, working with Product, Design and Engineering.
